Achieve the unachievable
I’m 38 and I’m fortunate enough to call North Wales my home & my playground. I spent 12 years working in the city of London before leaving the corporate life and setting up Race Force (www.raceforce.co.uk) in 2012 and have never looked back.
I grew up in a very active family with my dad, Brother and myself representing our country in our various sports. I started triathlon in 2009 (with a DQ at the no longer running Tatton Park triathlon…long story), like many I saw it as cross training exercise due to long distance running injuries but soon enough I was racing the longer distances and have since competed in many 70.3’s and finished my first Ironman in Cozumel Mexico 2012.
I’m a muddy mountains outdoor adventure kind of girl. When I’m not away with Race Force you’ll find me on some adventure somewhere generally with bike & tent and a huge smile on my face. My last big adventure was 2012 where I cycled the longest off road mountain bike route in the world, The Great Divide. 2700 miles from Canada to Mexico, climbing the equivalent of sea level to the summit of Mt Everest 7 times!!! I’ve hiked many of the high passes & summits across the Himalayas in Nepal and the Andes in South America and I’m a regularly to the Mountains of North Wales either on foot or Bike (road & mountain). I like to use the changes in terrain and embrace the great British weather to keep excitement and variability in my training plans.
For me triathlon is a lifestyle. Race day is just one day, one goal but every other day is an opportunity for us to grow as individuals, exceed our limits and explore the great outdoors living life to its fullest. Yes there will be some serious sessions we need to complete but this journey will be fun and adventurous and I’ll get you doing things you never thought you’d do.
I love working with athletes who don’t yet realise that they are much more capable than they have ever dreamed of. ‘I’ll help you set realistic and achievable long & short term goals that might not just include races but life milestones too. Having experienced a number of injuries myself I’ll work with you to get strong and get your body prepared for our adventure before ramping it up to achieve the unachievable.
